Cop Protest at Church Harboring
Abortionist
| May 21, 2000 Lincoln, Nebraska - A group of 100-150
protesters gathered outside Westminster Presbyterian church to picket a church which has
an abortionist as it's elder. Elder Winston Crabb (abortionist) is an elder at this
pro-abortion church. With the full knowledge of his occupation he was promoted from deacon
to elder in 1998. |

15 local police officers of Lincoln (and a few
firefighters), joined in the protest of the PCA-USA (pro-abortion) church. This was
preceded by years of true Christian witness from groups such as "Rescue the
Heartland" making regular 1+ hour drives from Omaha to bring accountability to a
church taken unawares by the evil one. Their love and Christian testimony touched the
hearts of local law enforcement officers. |
Local police officers contacted Larry Donlan of Rescue the Heartland
to help in this picket.
| With just one week notice, this may have been the
prolife event of the year - even last several years. Christians came from as far as
Colorado and Ohio to be here for this event. A righteous anger arose from the saints with
this "church" not only harboring an abortionist, but promoting him to place of
leadership. And we wonder why the heathen rage. |

Reactions from church goers ranged from indifference and pride, to
cursing. One church goer (who boldly claimed that his intelligence level was above ours)
was upset the we had "weapons" on the premises for his children to see.

Jo Scott shows police officer that she can hold both signs by
picking them up. This is one tough girl!
|
When Jo Scott (from Colorado) asked him if he allowed
his children to go out on Halloween, he retreated and refused to answer. Typical, eh? Here she is being harassed by a local police officer (across the street from
the church) who said she could not hold two signs as she cannot pick them up at the same
time. |
| An 80 year retired Air Force Colonel bravely wore a
custom of the Grim Reaper despite the heat. As a former Marine I thought I was tough - but
nothing compared to what this man endured. Hats off to the Air Force. Your officers are
the best. |

| In attendance also was Chuck Spingola, a street
preacher who received notoriety for his taking down the sodomite flag flying at the state
capitol building in Ohio, and burning it. The state has since banned the flag from being
flown in the state. Chuck preached the gospel with passion and clarity much to the
chagrin of many (on both sides). In the spirit of John the Baptist, Chuck laid the axe to
the root of the tree which bore bad fruit. Well done my brother. |

Life goes on as normal with the church that is
married to an abortionist. Note the balloons which celebrate their joyous occasion.
Indifferent and defensive of their abortionist elder, life goes on.

On personal note: This event will cause one of two
things to happen. In Exodus we read the account of the confrontation between Moses and
Pharaoh. The Bible tells us that "Pharaoh hardened his heart" after
each of the first five plagues. But then for each of the next five plagues, the Bible says
"and the Lord hardened Pharaohs heart." It's as if the Lord said, "You
want to make your heart hard? I'll make it even harder!" |
| This is the state of Westminster Presbyterian church.
They have hardened their hearts. Have they reached the point where the Lord will now start
hardening their hearts? One would hope not - for the sake of their souls. During this event the Lord kept one passage on my heart and on my lips from 1
Cor. 5:2-6 "... you are puffed up, and
have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from you ...
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ... deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction
of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." |

Note the lone proabort who came out to guard her
abortionist. She is not even a member of the church - but would be welcome!
|
[It is noteworthy that Jesus always showed compassion to the
sinners, but threw the book at the religious hypocrites. The book was thrown this day.]
This church stands in the cross roads of a hardened heart - to
perdition, and that of repentance. Pray for them. Write their overseers. http://www.lakesandprairies.org/presbyteries/homestead.html
The souls of a church - and it's parishioners - hang in the balance.
