Pastor to the Homeless may become homeless himself
Forwarded message from Pastor Wiley Drake follows: wileydrake@hotmail.com writes: While I was in Washington D.C. May 29-31 the devil and his jack-booted thugs attacked First Southern Baptist Church of Buena Park. Tax Collector John M.W. Moorlach of the County of Orange Tax collectors office issued the following on May 30, 2003.......... Church owned Parsonage
Friends this is my home, but is belongs to the Church. The described property has been owned by the Church for more than 25 years. When I came as pastor 16 years ago the Church said that they had only a little money for salary, but that the Drake family could live in the parsonage as long as I was pastor of the Church. We have live there, raised our children, and served God. We have never had anything in this home but our family. When we filed paper telling them it was a parsonage where the pastor and family lived they sent an investigator out to determine that indeed we were living there and it was a home only. Buena Park Jack-booted thugs came on Church property without a warrant, and told my chief of Security they wanted to talk to him to which he proclaimed that he was not interested in talking without an attorney. They placed him in handcuffs took him to jail. After finger printing him and taking a mug shot they read him is rights, and 1 hour later released him saying in writing that there was," INSUFFICIENT GROUNDS FOR MAKING A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT. 849(b) (1) The officer then said he was issuing an emergency protective order against Mr.. Ruffin. Please pray for us and be ready to STAND with us. As God as my witness, I will not leave my home to please a Tax collector. |
