The Hirelings of the Reich Church

By Joe Pavone

November 14, 2003

On November 11, 2003, Stephen Jordi was arrested in Miami, Florida, for allegedly plotting to bomb abortion clinics. Two days later, his pastors at the First Baptist church at Hillsboro disclosed to the media that they had warned the police on November 7th of their former church member’s view regarding abortion and violence. See the   memo sent to the police by Pastor Jerry Williamson.

What is so noteworthy is that these pastors are shameless in their announcing to the world that they counseled Stephen Jordi that the scripture is “against violence”- and said NOTHING about the violence of the American abortion holocaust. Read what Pastor Tim Hunter read in an announcement to the media stating that the church was against, “ALL acts of violence, and that – “with the permission of the police” – the church would help Jordi’s wife and four children who are now left without support.”

Seldom has the church of Jesus Christ witnessed such shameless bootlicking, such abominable cowering. These “pastors” are pastors in name only, forgetting:

“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. But he who is a hireling and not the shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and runs away. And the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees, because he is a hireling and does not care for the sheep.”John 10:11-13

Instead of pursuing the matter with Stephen Jordi, these “pastors” cravenly turned over the sheep to those who defend baby killers! Instead of laying down their lives for the sheep – they laid down Stephen Jordi’s life by betraying him to pagans.

“Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily; nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God , but becoming examples to the flock.” 1 Peter 5:2, 3

One can only pray that the flock of Pastors Williamson and Hunter will NOT follow their example and turn into quislings, who betray their brothers and sisters in Christ to the authorities. Williamson and Hunter would not find congregations among the Persecuted Church – underground churches such as those in Cuba and China would laugh at their poodle-like behavior in total scorn.

Not only did these pastors not say one word in the defense of the unborn—they profess being against “all acts of violence”. No doubt the Warsaw ghetto uprising of 1944 would have met with the disapproval of such men – one can only shudder to think of them running to the Gestapo to report the non-pacifists in their congregation

Would these pastors defend their own wives and children from intruders? If so, why deny unborn children the same right? It is time for all pro-lifers who believe that unborn children have the same rights as those already born to realize – by and large – most pastors are hirelings who cannot be trusted. They are the shameless bootlickers of pagan men, no different than King Herod.  We have a government that perpetuates the slaughter of innocents. These pastors have never taken to heart the Word of the One True God who does not change:

“Deliver those being taken to death, and those stumbling to be killed.” Proverbs 24:11a

And unlike Pastor Tim Hunter – I will NOT ask the permission of the police to help Stephen Jordi’s wife and four children. I do not serve two masters and I will gladly obey my King – my only King, who said:

“For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You drink? When did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you have done it to Me.” Matthew 25:35-40
