In all of Mary's apparitions there is one constant. She always points to her Son Jesus! She would invite you this day to receive Him now. He died upon the cross - that much we all know. But why did He die upon that bloody cross? This even the angels don't understand - but now is made known to you. It was for our sins He died. When He hung upon that cross, He paid the penalty for our sins - the same sins we would have surely spent an eternity in Hell to pay for. But there is good news. Jesus offers you eternal life - eternal life with Him as a free gift! Yes, a free gift! Look at what St. Paul wrote: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and it is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works - lest any man should boast." EPHESIANS 2:8-9 It is a free gift! If Our Lady of Drew could speak, she would cry out,
God also uses His children to declare what He has promised to us. That is why we give this to you. We love you and want you to join the Holy Family in heaven - and that you can know you will see them there. St. John wrote: "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life." I JOHN 5:13 Our Lady would want you to know that you can be with her in heaven. But you must trust her Son who offers you this eternal life as a free gift. ACTS 16:31 says: "Believe on the Lord Jesus, you will be saved." Most people believe Jesus lived, but don't understand that it was for their sins that He died upon the cross. That is the simple Gospel message - that we have been set free from those sins. This was a very expensive gift. It was the reason He shed His blood for us. Please don't delay. Our lives are like a vapor - here for a moment , and then GONE! To obtain this free gift, you need only take Jesus as Savior - your personal Savior - depending upon Him alone for salvation. Please pray the prayer that all the saints have prayed:
You have now begun your spiritual journey. To be sure, there will be plenty of ups and downs, mountains and pitfalls, but Jesus is going before you - and will see you through! For help and more information, |
