Abortion scandal at Catholic Hospital

Granite City, Ill. - Abortionist Yogendra Shah of 3165 Myrte Ave, Granite City is the OB/GYN Chief of Staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center 2100 Madison Ave in Granite City.  He is in a position over all other OB MD's. It is unique that an abortionist holds such a title in a hospital, but the fact that this is a Roman Catholic hospital makes it an abomination.

Shah has been on staff at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for more than 20 years, and been Chief of Staff for the last 3 years. The abortion clinic he runs has been in operation for 20 years as well - right across the street.

The "Hope Clinic for Women, LTD" is located at 1602 E 21st - directly across the street from the hospital. The abortion clinic has just recently been upgraded from a one story wreck of a building, to this modern two-story state of the art killing facility.

This abortion mill is here for the long haul. And why not? The Catholic hospital across the street is no threat. They even have the baby killer in their employment. But let's talk about the hospital.

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is a Catholic hospital run by the Sisters of Divine Providence. The administrator of the hospital is Sister Mary Thomas, C.D.P. The CEO is Ted Eilerman. The nuns live on the 5th floor of the hospital. Throughout the hospital one can find Franciscan crosses, statues of Mary and Jesus, and plaques which declare their commitment to Christian values. These statements of Christian values are even on their name tags. Even the name tag that abortionist Yogendra Shah wears.

Abortionist Shah could be considered the George Tiller of the east. Illinois law concerning abortions is foggy at best. Abortions are allowed up the 24 weeks, but afterwards it is "case-by-case." If the mother's life is in danger, or her mental condition comes into question, abortion is allowed. In other words it is open season on the unborn children of Illinois and nearby states.

This is key as Shah and co. often get clients from four different states for the late term abortions that are not allowed in other states.   These normally occur late Thursday nights, or early Friday mornings (depending if a prolife presence is there at night). He is the George Tiller of the East.

The leadership of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and Bishop George Lucas are well aware of what their OB/GYN Chief of Staff does for a living (the mill kills six days a week) and yet refuse to remove the killer from their midst. The hospital even operates a Crisis Pregnancy Center behind the abortion mill, but is only open when babies are NOT being killed. Coincidence? When asked why they are not open when the babies are dying, they said they do not have enough people to staff the CPC. The coincidence is compounded by the fact local prolifers have offered to volunteer their time to work the CPC and were rejected.

But the biggest hypocrisy of this Catholic hospital lies in a small tomb within a stone's throw of the abortion clinic - which the hospital has the nerve to dare put on their property:

This hospital makes a mockery of the Holy Roman Catholic church, and the Christian faith. An abortionist at a Catholic hospital? It is obscene.
