“Operation Rescue/Operation Save America will hold a press conference and signing of the Emancipation Proclamation for the Unborn.Although President Lincoln’s signing of the Emancipation Proclamation did not immediately free one slave, it changed the character of a nation.  Today we will sign another proclamation that will change a nation.”

How so Flip?

What became of  your original Proclamation signed seven years ago on July 21, 2001 in Wichita, Kansas? You told us your Proclamation would change the nation back then. Same in Charlotte in 2003. Now in 2008, you are saying this time it will work? I hardly think so.

Saints, this is nothing more then “symbolism” over “substance.” Unfortunately, the American church embraces this kind of nonsense. Most Americans do.

Just look at Barak Obama … the man is an empty suit. He is 100% symbolism, and 0% substance. The man has trouble putting two sentences together unless it is written down for him. Ask him a question he is not prepared for, and he begins to babble like an idiot. Still – people embrace him because of his symbolism – change. I guess if ones symbolism is good enough, they don’t care that he is a dry bone with no meat.

This “Emancipation Proclamation for the Unborn” is a dry bone with no meat. It sounds good (like Obama), it revs up the troops (like Obama), – but it is just a piece of paper … a symbol without substance.

Is there anyone reading this who truly believes that signing this piece of paper will change this nation? What are they going to do next? Walk across America with a horse and donkey? Oops … they already did that.

I was game for the first Proclamation in 2001, and signed on. I posted it on this web site. Call me crazy, but I’m just looking for some meat this time,  even gristle would do.  I just don’t want the rehashed failed rhetoric of the past.

Just calling it like I see it – as always.
